Writing plays a vital role in students' life since they have to answer questions through writing that too perfect writing. Academic writing helps the students answer questions asked in examinations in the right manner or prepare an excellent report. The academic writing in English has a beginning and an end and each area contributes to the main subject without the repetition of words and lines. The academic writing favors the writer to produce a clear report or an essay or any piece of writing works in an orderly fashion and helps the reader to follow it clearly.

Every academic writing follows the procedure of preliminaries, main text and the end matter. Normally the preliminaries and the end matter have the stuff about the text. The main text is like a heart to the writing material and it consists of an introduction, main body and a conclusion part. The abstract gives the background idea about the report and explains about the purpose of the report written. It also gives the information about the methodology used in the academic report writing and some results and conclusion. The contents give the page numbers for the reader verification.

The main text in the academic report writing naturally consists of several paragraphs of views and ideas, information about the text and some arguments are also included. In the main text the introduction part gives the detail information and the reason for writing the report. The methodology deals with how the information was collected. It gives the source of the information. The results give the collected data. The discussion argues that the results have valid data and it leads to the clear conclusion. The readers can easily understand the report with clearly divided sections.

The end matter of the academic report writing should have the valid list of references. The appendices part of the report must give all the information about the source used in the report.

The important point is the academic writing should be more than the personal response. The readers must gain some knowledge or information from the report. The readers are the better audience, so the report must be written in such a way to satisfy the readers. Hence the academic writing improves the style, and gives a perfect shape to the work.
